Patreon update + restructuring!

Hello everyone! Eddie here, for the first time ever speaking DIRECTLY to you through your patreon feed. Wow!!!

You're all already aware, but this year has involved a lot of changes in our personal lives and the addition of other responsibilities, which kind of forced us to put the original plans for tier rewards in the backburner; Austin already spoke about it in the previous update, so I won't reiterate it too much. But here's the actual point of interest: we decided we're going to restructure our reward tiers!

This decision came about because we felt bad for leaving you guys in the dust, and we would like to try to find a happy medium where we're still able to give you special goodies as a thank you for your (extremely appreciated!) support, while not letting that get in the way comic-making and burning ourselves out in the process. Here's a quick outline of what that means:

- We probably won't be making any more Static episodes. We always had a ton of fun with those, but scheduling conflicts became a bit of an obstacle, and those things also take a Lot of time to edit and record. All of the past episodes will still be indefinitely available for $12+ patrons, though!

- The behind the scenes commentary is going to turn into more of a concept art, sketch and storyboard showcase, with some light commentary here and there. The detailed write ups took a lot of Austin's time, and it ended up getting a bit overwhelming. We hope that'll still feel like a worthy trade-off - we don't plan on uploading any less material, just having less writing attached.

And, most importantly...

- We want to add new rewards to every tier! Hooray!!!

We talked it through and we have some ideas (which we'll be listing below), but we would also like to get YOUR input on this! What would you like to see from the patreon going forward? Our ears are open wide and ready to listen.

Our current ideas are:

- A monthly 15% discount code for the DCRC store. Capitalism!
- A monthly Q&A where you'd be able to ask questions about any and all aspects of Vast Error and its related projects! This is your chance to be as nosy as you'd like. Just don't expect us to start giving out free spoilers, that's worth at LEAST like a thousand dollars.
- Early-bird previews of future merch drops, as soon as we've settled on ideas and/or have assets to show off!
- A monthly sketch request page from Eddie (yours truly)! This one is more tentative, but if there's enough interest I think it would be manageable AND fun, which is a win-win for all involved.
- If we've got enough perks to make it worth it, possibly add a new $6.44 tier, since the current ones we have involve kind of a big money jump.

Whew, I think that's about it. As always, thank you so much for sticking with us through this more-or-less-hiatus period as we sort ourselves out, it really does mean a lot. And don't forget to comment with ideas of what you'd like to see from the patreon below! We're looking forward to getting things back on track and listening to your feedback.
