Added 2021-12-29 02:45:13 +0000 UTCI find that the first time you shoot with someone is always the most awkward. Especially if that person has never done modeling or acting of this sort before. And even more so if they've never been tied up.
This was the case with Lilly. In the past I used to try to explain more, but there's nothing that really matches just diving right in and letting them just experience what it's going to be like. Everyone is different and so you never know what's going to work or how they'll react. I rarely expect anything of worth from the initial set, it's just to get them doing something.
So I was surprised that this actually turned out pretty well! You can see at first that Lilly isn't quite sure what to do but she finds her groove quick. Her hair kept getting in the way, but I actually like when that happens. Plus I'm used to it after working with Merci so many times and her wild mane!
After we finished this set Lilly laughed and said she found she was really getting into the part. That's always a good sign :)
