[PATRON REWARD] Weekly Update - June 2nd, 2019

I'm a freaking DUFUS! I only just realized that my Patreon page is set up in such way that half of my patrons have no content to check out.

I should've been more communicative from the start. I'm sorry! Starting today, I'll be posting weekly updates for the channel and the page.
These posts will also serve as a place for any questions or suggestions. Don't be shy and hit me with some comments!

Without further adieu, here are some of the things going on with the channel:

• There will be a poll for episode 17 this Friday. Come to vote for your prefer topic!

• Episode 15 has been edited. I'll be locking the credit tomorrow. It'll be out this Thursday.
• Episode 16 just got a complete first draft. It's rather disorganized at the moment, but I think the topic will be quite interesting for most viewers of this channel. Let's just say it concerns Jackie Chan.
• Last episode was one of my favourite to work on, and I think the passion shows. It's also one of the more niche topic, so it didn't garner much attentions.
• Still, quite a few comments said the episode makes them want to track down copies of the Gamera films and watch them. That's the biggest validation I can have for this episode.

• The popularity of the channel is also in a bit of a decline. But this seems to be a site wide phenomenon. Growth for a lot of educational channels slowed to a craw. YouTube works in mysterious ways.
• The copyright claims on the Stephen Chow episode is close to expiring (Yes, it's still not over). Hopefully the channel can go back to normal afterward.

• I've been thinking of redesigning some of the animations of the channel. Currently, it's serviceable but charmless. Expect some changes in the future (but maybe not immediate future)
• I have some basic knowledge on doing infographic animations, but I want to explore a bit more 80s-90s retro graphics, since many of our topics are rather nostalgia oriented. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment!

Finally, I want to thank everyone who stick with this channel and hasn't left because of my stupidity.

I know no matter what I say, it'll sound official and fake and cliche. But trust me, every "thank you" I say, I do mean it.
