[PATRON REWARD] Weekly Update - June 23rd, 2019

Did you enjoy our last episode? They said if you look carefully, you can actually see John Cena in there, somewhere.

Anyway, polls for the 17th episode is now closed! Looks like we'll be talking about Wandering Earth. To be honest, I did not expect that. But I'm excited to talk about it.

Without further ado:

• Our last episode finally broke into the 5th digit view count, and is doing well on both views and receptions.
• The comments are all surprisingly civil for a video about Kung Fu, a topic that everyone has opinions on. So, Thank you for being so supportive!
• The video was shared by Vi-Dan Tran on his facebook page. If you don't know, Vi-Dan Tran is a stuntman in the Jackie Chan Stunt Team, and worked on films like The Foreigner, Skyfall and TV shows like Into the Badlands.
• Yes, I'm going to brag about it for the next month.

• Episode 17 (Wandering Earth) just got its first draft. And it's shaping up well. It's still very messy, so allow me to polish it up before posting it as Patreon reward.
• Episode 17 will come out 5th of July.
• Before that, tune in to the Patreon page for this months bonus video. I haven't decided on the topic yet...

• That's because I'm in a bit of writer's block recently. This affects both my channel work and personal work. Hopefully it'll go away soon.
• You can actually somewhat feel the effects of writer's block our last episode. The information is all there, but the structure is somewhat loose. For an episode discussing Jackie Chan's Kung Fu, Jackie is mentioned surprisingly few times.

• Finally, the topic for Episode 18 has been decided. It's not going to be the other voting option just yet. Stay tuned for more.

And that's it. This is the last update before Mario Maker 2 come out.

Not sure if it'll affect my productivity but I guess we'll see.
