So, on top of the page, there should be tags that you can click on. They bring you to all the bonus videos, script previews and other things from the page's past. However, it doesn't always appear for me.
Do they show up for you?
ABOUT THE CHANNEL
- I hope you enjoy our part 1 of the Kung Fu Heroines series. Admittedly it is a history oriented episode, which comes out rather dry. But information is limited, and visual medium is even more scarce. After multiple rewrites, I think I did the best I could.
- I could have cut out the parts about Xu Qin-fang. But I feel like her life is too important and underrated.
- Part 2 of the series, we will have three more stars to talk about: Kara Hui, Michelle Yeoh, and Zhang Ziyi. Leave a comment below and tell me who else do you think deserves a mention.
- And finally, our channel is getting very close to 100K subscribers. It is such a strange feeling to realize some of my favourite channels have less subscribers Than we do.
- Thank you all for the support, as always!
ABOUT MEDIA
- Jumanji: The Next Level is the most underrated gem of 2019. I stand by it with my life!
- Outside of it being a genuinely funny and emotional journey, I'm legit impressed with the acting talent all of the actors are demonstrating.
- For those of you who don't know, Jumanji is about a bunch of people who get sucked into a video game. A teenager may become The Rock in the film, and thus, you get to witness The Rock acting like a teenager.
- Back in the previous film, Jack Black is the only person who actually acts like a teenager: A instagram blond girl.
- But in this film, not only everyone is doing it, doing it well, they have to switch characters multiple times. One minute, the Rock is acting as Danny Devito (No Joke). And then, he has to switch back to a teen character, and Awkwafina begins to act like DeVito.
- It sounds absolutely insane and complicated, and it really is. Yet the film never once feel confusing, for the fact that the acting is so consistent (even if a bit exaggerated).
- All this culminates to an emotional moment, where Danny DeVito and And Danny Glover has one of the most Memorable, heartfelt and heartbreaking conversation of the entire film.
- Except, it wasn't DeVito and Glover. It was someone acting as them. I think it was The Rock and Kevin Hart acting as them.
- But that's the thing. Their performance is so convincing, I legit forgot that they aren't who they are, and in my memory, I only see DeVito and Glover. That's some grade A acting.
- It is now legit one of my favourite Christmas movie. If you have the time, give it a watch. You will not be disappointed.
ABOUT LIFE
- Well, sure as hell not going to anywhere any time soon.
- 5 more days till Doom Eternal.
- Just kidding, Animal Crossing for life.
The pandemic situation is getting rather serious. Stay safe, and be responsible, everyone. Let's get this over with, so we can go back to experiencing the magic of cinema without worry.
I'll see you in the next update!
