Ramlethal Stylized Animation - Guilty Gear Strive

Hello, amazing Patreon! Today is the 18th, which (normally) sets my end date to deliver a .blend project completed. I chose to share the Goku .blend file because there have been requests for doing so, and also because I have never reviewed a completed DBZ model, even though it's stylized with the same method than Guilty Gear XRd (just a little bit more advanced).

Switching gears, If you are new here in the channel, we did a poll past 2 weeks ago where Patreons voted for a character in a short story I wrote for Fixy's cyber military crew. The story has yet to be finished but it was written so you can imagine the world and the roles they have in the story. In summary, I will deliver the concept for the character winner: Ghost.

But what does this have to do with Ramlethal? - Animation, of course!
You see... long ago, I listened to an anime animation interview where the artist said "It's not only about posing / moving your character right, but it has to (visually) FEEL RIGHT".
This commentary left a mark on me, and now I want to apply that concept to the new Ghost male character we will develop for Fixy's 3d crew.

Can you see Ramlethal entire body wiggling because of the sudden action? At first your eye might not pick it up,  but from "first read" it felt "right". This is an original animation from the game. It's a very strong pose. Remember: Always work on your follow-troughs and secondaries (actions).

Right click on the image, save as. You can chroma key the .gif animation and use it on Blender with just drag/drop on the viewport or just use it as an image sequence in the the editor and so some overlay compositing.

Cheers!
-Pierre.
