Navigate the next logical connected bone in a Rig.
Added 2021-08-27 18:41:59 +0000 UTCSometimes we need to quickly explore and select the next bone in the hierarchy without the need to open the current selection with the period on the numpad "." (focus). If you're new to Blender and are accustomed to quickly explore and navigate your bones, here's a quick tip:
To select your bones in a hierarchy, go to POSE mode and use:
] (closing bracket) - To select the next bone in the hierarchy
[ (opening bracket) - To select the previous bone in the hierarchy.
If you need to extend the selection from your current selected bone to the next connected one you can use:
Shift+] - To select the next connected bone in the hierarchy.
Shift+[ - To select the previous connected bone in the hierarchy.
