All right, without further due, you already know the 30th is the day for the official JackO's DLC on Guilty Gear Strive. This model you see, however, was recreated from the Guilty Gear Story mode which is why you will notice a lot of "imprinted vertex paint shadows" are not there. I did not modeled this character, I only created the shader for it. I always name all my nodes, but I will include what I did with this simple node setup this time.
I am always varying the style of shading, because the aim is to explore an appealing look rather than 1 to 1 game shader resemblance. This is because in Blender you are not bound to export to a game engine, but rather you can freely compose and animate in real time with the style you want.
