Why the Industry needs Blender

Activate CC>Auto translate>English in the above video. At 12:34 - The director is asked whether he likes the previz (previsualization) of the process for the movie cuts (the movie scenes) in the new Evangelion movies. He says "I got a lot of work to do", meaning it's not nearly the kind of quality he needs for the camera angles to tell the story.
The camera is a CRUCIAL actor in your scene.

If you have the chance, please watch this video from 12:34 onwards. I would like to point out with this context why the industry needs more 3D Artists in Blender:

* Specialized training is needed so you not only can create the concept, but the highest version of either the asset or the scenes. This is why I opened this Patreon, so we can talk about what can help you step up your game. This is not a speed game, it's a resistance game. You're earning experience with each project we share and with each video we see.

* Blender is the only flexible tool out there in the industry that can basically tackle all the technical aspects (all the editor modules are integrated with each other), but YOU, as the artist, are the one who will define style and appeal. This is why we start with early concepts, written ideas, see what works throw what doesn't.

*  Why does the industry needs Blender? There's so many new tools in Blender 3, including procedural modeling (Geometry Nodes) that Blender is reaching a lot of new areas to embrace the work that (in some studios) is done in different formats, different versions, different files. Just open the .blend file and you have: cloth sim, particles, procedural geometry (like a city), storyboarding (with animation and depth), you can draw on top of any 3d frame / scene / object. How powerful is that for reviews and style!

Blender 3 is set to be released somewhere after December 2021, and the Industry NEEDS you as an artist.
Thank you for your support as patreon. We still got a lot of ground to cover, but we're doing it one step at the time.

-Pierre.

Just got to keep stepping one foot in front of the other and we will get there.
