Hi dear Patreon, as we advance the creation of the stylized painterly shader, I deem it necessary to address one of the common issues I've read over the past 15 days in different users's post, about not having "formal" background training for painting stylized characters.
Welp, fear not! I've been following Yekaterina's artwork for almost 10 years now, and she shared an ARTSTATION video training to paint stylized characters' textures. She uses 3DCoat (I also use 3D coat sometimes), but most of her work can be reproduced in Blender, especially since we can also bake textures.
The course is free, now that Artstation is owned by EPIC GAMES (company).
So, go check it out, it will give you a lot of inisights about painting stylized textures on characters.
What about the blender stylized shader? -Oh! Don't worry! I'm on it!
I will be delivering the project files as well as the shader and the video training on how to use it. Thank you so much for your patience. We're near the 18th!
