Hi, awesome Patreon.
If you are new, I want to welcome you to this community where we aim to use Blender to produce stylized animation. Back 2 years ago, I thought it was a good idea to tell you, exclusively, how movies are made ready for exhibition. Yeah, the ones at the cinema!
In the past I've done movie commercial rolls (you know, that advertising or trailer you see before starting the movie), which gave me a huge scope of what's possible at the theaters as an exhibition medium. In 2010, I had the opportunity to work for a 3D short stereoscopic movie trailer, and from that point on I knew 3D Stereo in Cinemas was an amazing format to produce in.
So, here we are, it's 2021, we are trying to get out of a Pandemic and there for, movie theaters are low in numbers, but nevertheless, we trust this situation will pass and that movies lining up for December 2021, at least get the public back in theaters normally.
And so, here's my question to you:
If we get to the first community goal: Would you be interested in learning how to produce your animation for movie exhibition in 3D (stereoscopic 3D with Glasses) or would you rather produce animation for STREAMING services?
Let me know in the comment section below.
Cheers!
-Pierre.
