✅ Stylized Painterly Shader v0.1 (Skin)

Hi, awesome Patreon. Thank you for your patience. This "✅" icon means this is a "per creation" post, which is usually how I mark the current month's reward.
HERE IS THE LINK TO THE FILES>>

I'm finishing the longer video walk through edition for YOU, awesome Patreon, probably by Monday morning where you will see all the parameters and how to configure the full extent of the shader as it is right now.

Please do me a big favor: The models provided (Stylized Girl and Zooey), please do not re-distribute nor sale. They are only used as examples for your study only.
However, you can apply the shader to any of your models and creations freely.  The shader is yours now. You may credit me if you want as: "Painterly Shader by Pierre Schiller -- www.youtube.com/activemotionpictures"

As always, if you have any questions, please let me know in the comment section below.

Thanks!

-Pierre

Could you share a link to a screenshot of what you see and what you have in the shader tree, please?

Hi. I downloaded this shader but for some reason whenever I try to switch to the rendered view my model becomes transparent. Why is this?

Hi Kon. Thank you very much for your support as Patreon. I have created hair tutorials, maybe these will help you? https://youtu.be/6c7S95N3rUU https://youtu.be/_qTvaf3Otzs And this one shows how I model spiky hair: https://youtu.be/Q2L8NsAthF8?t=386

Hello. I am Japanese. Blender is a beginner. The model you make is wonderful, so I registered because I wanted to be able to make something similar. It's a request, but could you please make a model of Asuka of Evangelion? Below is the official Asuka model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGFktAfLWSU I have a hard time making hairstyles because the hairstyle is complicated. I would like to see a model that serves as a model. If possible, please. (This text is translated by Google. I'm sorry if it's rude). We will continue to support our activities. Thank you for the wonderful model.

Yes, "lite" versions should be available once I reach version 1 for "skin, metal and cloth" shaders as user-friendly-one-shader-node pack. I can't wait to get to CLOTH shader! 😅

I've downloaded it and it looks great! I do think it's still possible to make it more beginner-friendly by packing them all into a single node group, but amazing effort nonetheless. You could even sell it as a standalone on BlenderMarket and I'm sure it'll do great. Can't wait to play with the shader next weekend^^
