Awesome patron Tobias suggested a pillow fort! I have a 7-year-old, so pillow and blanket forts are a regular part of my life. None as fancy as this, sadly, but these two do have miracles on their side, to keep the ceilings from drooping.
They're playing Othello, which I believe is also called Reversi, which is my favorite board game that no one will play with me because I rule at it. The pieces are light on one side and dark on the other, and the object is to dominate the board with your side. Light, dark, light dark, indiscriminate flipping. Seems almost too perfect, doesn't it?
I should add Crowley's phone set up so they can watch Golden Girls or something.
I am *thinking* about trying to make this the original piece this month, but I have not had great results when I do them at this scale -- no pen I have is fine enough to keep the details. But we'll see.
