September menu (& August winner)
Added 2022-09-01 16:00:10 +0000 UTCTaiyaki for two! Could be any filling you like. I only just found out that taiyaki isn't just filled with ice cream, but can be stuffed with hot savory sandwich stuff, custard, anko, etc. I just like vanilla ice cream in mine.
So FIRST of all, I completely whiffed it on posting the name drawing yesterday. I did it a different way, and even featured my son picking a number from 1 to 162, with which I chose from a randomized spreadsheet, but once again Youtube REFUSED to upload the dang thing. But your winner is jars! Jars, I hope you like the cozy kitchen piece, and I know that you've been a patron for a really long time, so I'm happy that you can get this one!
So! What have we got on the menu for September?
+ Spooky things! I don't think I'll do a DTIYS, but you know how much I love Halloween, and September is the pre-game month for creepy good times.
+ Candy Tongue! I took a break from it last month. Comic pages take a long time for me and I wanted to finish some bigger projects, but I'll get another page out at least.
+ Nazars' postcard this month will be the yellow lemonade piece! I'm stoked, I really like that one. I think I'll have you guys vote one what you'd like for next month's postcard because I have a few I could go with.
+ I'll be updating my shop with a whole bunch of new prints soon, and I'll let you guys know before I put it on social media.
September 3 is my sister Kit's birthday, and she also happens to be an awesome artist, with her own comics, paintings, stickers, toys and trinkets, and if you felt so inclined, you could wander over to her shop, her Patreon or her Instagram and see what the haps is!
