It's deeply uncomfortable for me to open up my trauma like this. But seeing how things have been lately, I feel like it's perhaps best for me to be uncomfortable, if it means I can help someone, even if it's just a little bit.
Crayon Shin-chan has been a part of my childhood, even thought it probably shouldn't. It was aired at 9 or 10pm, so it was clearly mean for adult. Even the humour is very adult oriented.
Most importantly, look past it's silly exterior, and you'll see a lot of very adult topics. And today, we talk about one of these topic: Toxic Nostalgia.
