2023-07-13 15:55:35 +0000 UTCEpisode reminded me of the "restaurant" run by the Syrian militia on their half of our FOB. Food was utterly incredible but I wonder what kind of parasites I have now given their food safety. They had a baker over there that would make this giant flatbread and sell if to us and we'd make breakfast burritos out of it. The flatbread was a large enough part of our daily meals that the commander authorised one of the guys wives to be flown to Jordan for medical treatment so the guy wouldn't leave the area.
