Since the two films highlighted don't have a strong through line (it's more like small vignettes connected together), it's pretty difficult to talk about the film on a whole. So the video was written with the assumption that you know the films already. For this reason, I'd recommend watching the films, first. Don't worry if you are not familiar with the property. The two films are stand alone reboots. And they are well worth a watch.
