WIP: The captive knight
Added 2021-02-07 20:42:38 +0000 UTCThis is a commission for a very special patron who's been one of my real-life patrons for a while now. They're the reason I picked up watercolors, so I could learn to paint their first commission, The Nightmare.
I use traditional media so rarely that it's been a lot of trial and error. I had inked this whole thing with a Pentel brush pen, which has a huge learning curve -- hated it, had a big fat tantrum, destroyed it, and started over with a Micron pen, which looks very nice, I think! The next step is watercolor, which I've been psyching myself up for. Wish me luck!
