Victorian gentlemen
Added 2021-03-08 17:01:03 +0000 UTCLast month my Lucky Cats voted for Victorian era! I was shocked, honestly, I only threw that on there as a space-filler. Aziraphale's Victorian look is one of my favorites, but Crowley looks so very like a mortician, so the wonderful tweedfeather helped me with some fashion research and I tried to pretty him up a little. He's definitely angling for an invitation to that discreet gentlemen's club, but Aziraphale's got to have some secrets. Maybe he also likes to make Crowley just a little bit jealous.

The way you've emphasized their contrast is really sending me here. Everything about Aziraphale is soft, the clasp of his gentle hands, his drapey sleeves, his cravat, his hair, his expression. And Crowley is all sharp angles, especially the cutaway coat with its pronounced lapels, the bend of his elbow and wrist, the pipe, and his full profile. And yet his expression, gazing at the angel, is soft, so soft. π
