Farewell Honeybees
Added 2021-04-01 19:26:19 +0000 UTCIt's been three full months since I started my Patreon, and I'm still totally shocked by how many of you sweethearts have joined me. I expected to get like, 12 patrons when I opened up. I would have been stoked to get 12! Here I am with 460, last I checked, and I still have trouble believing it, but I'm so grateful. Not only are you here, but you guys really tell me how you feel, you're so encouraging, kind, creative, talented and friendly. I'm just crazy lucky.
One of the benefits I offered was the Discord server, Honeybees. Again, when I started it up, I figured it would be a tiny, cozy affair, but last I counted there were 180+ members. While I have absolutely loved seeing all that you've shared -- your projects, your cities, your food, your FEELINGS -- I found that I was getting really overwhelmed and stressed out trying to keep up. I'm not the most social person on a good day, and I felt really guilty when I got to be too busy to reply, to comment on the wonderful stuff you shared.
Honeybees will close in a couple of days, so if you're a member, you'll have time to make friend-requests (and feel free to send me one too if you like!), save links, and join other servers folks have linked. If you feel like the Discord was an important benefit to you, I will happily refund your pledge for this month. Just let me know, and PLEASE do not hesitate to be honest, I will totally understand!
Coloring pages! Discord was a nice place to share your colored pages and hear some feedback, so what I'm going to do now is ask that you message me if you have a coloring page you want to share, and once a month I will make a post with all the ones I've gotten, so everyone can see and heap some love on them! Message me here, on Discord, or anywhere on social media!
Honeybees was a great experiment and a lot of fun, but ultimately not something I can feasibly maintain. Thank you all for making it a wonderful place to be, and thank you for understanding, for allowing me to make the best decision for myself. I appreciate you, and I will work hard to keep giving you guys the stuff you want to see! ❤️

As others have stated, you should always base your decisions on your own mental and emotional health. And for me personally, I joined the Discord, but was very overwhelmed so I've only been back a couple of times. There's just so much, and I couldn't decide what to focus on, so it was better for me to step away. We definitely want you to be the best you possible, and I will support you in whatever fashion that takes.

2021-04-02 22:01:44 +0000 UTCJust do what makes you happy and healthy. While there is no obligation to reply back to people, as a person with anxiety I can see how that would become overwhelming and stressful. Glad you are making steps for your health and happiness, not enough people do that. Here to support ya through whatever. 💜
