In which I express my gratitude to you seriously, seriously amazing Lucky Cats of mine (I treasure you), and draw the name of this month's winner, which is Aybig! Thank you for supporting me Aybig, and to all of you.
I've said it before, and not to get sappy, but... okay, I've been good at drawing since I was little. And adults would always ask me, "Are you going to be an artist when you grow up?" And I'd say NO! No way. Because when you're a kid with a natural talent but you also suck at a lot of normal stuff, like math or sports or paying attention, you start to feel like a big fat imposter, and there's no way you could develop the skill or maintain the stamina to be a professional artist. And I'm not, I'm not professional, I'm still just a hobbyist. But you have allowed me to make this my actual job, that I love, and if 10-year-old Ginger could see me now... I don't know, her mind would be blown. I think she'd be disappointed that our buck teeth never straightened out, but otherwise she'd be pretty excited. π So cheers to you, my friends.
