Butterflies
Added 2021-11-05 11:12:46 +0000 UTCAll the while I was painting this, I listened to SZA's "Good Days" on repeat, and I feel like it adds something important to it.
Searching for ancient Middle Eastern butterflies, I learned that Lebanon has a massive and diverse butterfly population due to its climate, wildflowers and central location to several continents. There would have been plenty of butterflies in Mesopotamia, and if there was a great flood, they might have survived it, and come to perch on a gentle demon.
