新曲：老的塵埃與光Remnant of Dust and Light (wav)

各位還好嗎？疫情下的世界我們的生活已經悄悄地被改變了，許多人在不安的情緒下，開始找尋著能夠憑依與寄託的，熟悉的事物。而這也是我在新的專輯方向：廢墟，裡面所希望表達的另一種面向。

廢墟雖然乍看之下很恐怖，但往往都是人們曾經寄託了許多希望的所在。殘破又被充滿令人費解塗鴉的牆壁，可能曾是某個設計師當時的心血結晶；凌亂佈滿灰塵的傢俱，或許背後藏著令人心疼又憐愛的小故事。這些建物與故事人去樓空，我們只能看著勉強殘存下來的，像是迫於情勢後的證據，一一想像他們曾經經歷過的故事。

這兩年，我的長輩們在離開後的故居，也曾成為離我最近的廢墟。它欠缺維護、勉強度日、長滿灰塵、等待日夜後被新房子取代。每次去探望它，總有一種闖進巨大回憶空洞的感覺。小時玩過的電腦、阿公最愛的音響、阿媽用來叫阿公吃飯的手搖鈴、照片、汎黃的書籍、搖搖欲墜的鐵架與沈重的手提錄音帶播放器。

伸手去撫摸那些記憶，就會有厚厚的灰塵被揚起，輝煌地在現今的日光下閃耀著，綻放出不可思議的色彩。

以此紀念那間已不復存在的故居，以及當成廢墟計畫中第二首原創曲。希望大家都能平安度過每一天。

How are you all doing? Our lives have been quietly transformed by the epidemic and many of us, in a state of anxiety, have begun to look for familiar things to hold on to and rely on. This is also the direction I want to take with my new album, Ruins.

Ruins may look scary at first glance, but they are often places where people have placed a lot of hope. A crumbling wall filled with incomprehensible graffiti may have been the brainchild of a designer at the time; a messy, dusty piece of furniture may have a heart-wrenching, loving little story behind it. With these buildings and stories gone, we can only look at the barely surviving evidence, as if forced by circumstance, and imagine the stories they once told.

In the past two years, my elders' homes have become the nearest ruins to me after they left. It was unmaintained, barely surviving, dusty, waiting for days and nights to be replaced by a new house. Every time I visit it, I feel like I am entering a huge void of memories. The computer I used to play on as a child, my grandfather's favourite stereo, the hand bell my mother used to call him for dinner, the photographs, the yellowish books, the rickety metal frame and the heavy portable tape player.

When I reach out and touch those memories, a thick layer of dust lifts up and shines brilliantly in the present daylight, blossoming with unimaginable colors.

This is a tribute to a home that no longer exists and the second original song in the ruins project. I hope you all have a safe day.
