In my newest video, I highlighted some of the noteworthy aspects of the latest build, and also discussed some topics that I’ve been yearning to talk about. In short, there are two concerns I wanted to put to rest:
1. A lack of progress on Osana doesn't mean an overall lack of progress; Osana is just one item on the checklist of everything that I need to accomplish, and I am always making progress on some part of that checklist.
2. It's not very fun to build a game without models or textures; staring at pure white geometric shapes can get pretty boring. So, during the first half of Yandere Simulator's development, some of the game's assets were downloaded from the Internet to make things easier on the eyes. Some people have described this as "theft" or "stealing", and I wanted to make it as clear as possible that I have absolutely no intention of releasing a game containing assets I don't own the rights to use. Now that we are approaching the end of the "debug sandbox" phase of the game's development, replacing all temporary placeholder assets is much higher on my priority list.
I fear that this video will come off as slightly defensive - but I still attempted to make it as entertaining as possible, and tried to spend the majority of my time talking about actual progress on the game.
Thank you for following the development as Yandere Simulator!
