RPPR Illustrated: Cointract Island - The Neighborhood and Resort Maps and Guardian Robots

The Neighborhood is the main population center of the island. While other areas have residential buildings, new citizens are encouraged to buy a house in the neighborhood. It emulates an upscale American suburban gated community, at least as much as possible on a tropical jungle island. 

Notable Locations 

• Improvised Security Checkpoints - set up by citizens to block access from the greeting hub area. Cars blocking the road. People with guns. 
• Fitness Center (with pool): A fancy gym and swimming pool. 
• Town Hall and Security Office: An office building and conference center for daily operations and a small private security office with holding cells. 
• Chimera Park: Like a dog park but for domesticated chimeras. Obviously overrun with couriers, pug apes, mimic monkeys, and other chimera. Has several abstract sculptures that are actually guardian robots. 
• Worker Distribution center and tunnels - controlled by worker RFID badges: Workers from the barracks show up at the center for work and then use underground tunnels to travel out of sight. The tunnels do not go into individual houses but have exits on each street. 
• Drive Mart - A supermarket you can drive your car into! Get your groceries without leaving the comfort of your vehicle. 
• Tiny Home District - a few blocks of tiny homes, more affordable and more readily available. 

New Enemy - Guardian Robots 

Designed to disguise themselves as park benches, trash cans, and sculptures, they sneak up on people without valid NFT identification lanyards or are in the visual recognition database. They use a variety of less-lethal weapons like tasers, pepper spray, bean bag launchers, and net guns to capture trespassers. They take captured people to a holding cell in the town hall. 

The Resort

A luxury resort for visitors and residents who want to unwind. It was also designed as a center for medical tourism with a planned cutting edge cybernetics clinic. 

Notable Locations

• Over-water Suites 
• Main hotel - high end fancy hotel with night club, roof dining, etc
• Extreme Sport facility on the beach - wind tunnels, para-gliding, riding panda-horse chimeras
• Cybernetic clinic - medical tourism for cybernetics - only partially complete. Still has a functional underground surgical suite. 
• Airpad - has tethered quadcopters that guests can fly - uses augmented reality HUD for games
• Hedge Maze - swarming with mimic monkeys and couriers
