RPPR Illustrated - The Office Park and the Power Plant

The Office Park is the hub of business and innovation on Cointract Island. It contains multiple office buildings, coffee shops, a park, and a conference center.

The Office Park Features

Street Gliders - a UFO shaped gyroscopic rail car - goes above street level - giant coin logos on them.

The Pyramid Conference Center - a black pyramid used for conventions, conferences, and other major events.

The Colosseum Open Office - Modeled after the famed gladiatorial arena, this is a vast open office with an operable roof so it can be opened, although it usually remains on. It is strictly hierarchical - lowest workers in the pit, while top executives in the emperor’s seating area.

The BuildChain Office - A strange, labyrinth office campus. Boxes and irregular shapes folded in of themselves. Roof gardens and solar panels. Possibly self-sufficient. Think Googleplex but also brutalist labyrinth hell maze

The Power Plant

Cointract Island uses solar power as much as possible throughout the island, with every building having at least a few panels. It still needs a central power source though. The power plant uses an underwater wave farm with a backup diesel generator for emergencies.

Features

Underwater wave farm - just offshore to generate most of the power for the island.

Power Plant Complex - Diesel generator, offices, normal industrial facility.

The Secret Backup Generator - Experimental research facility with various chimeras - all have electric eel and are being tested to see which is the most efficient form of bioelectric generation. All can be plugged into the grid if necessary but only as a last resort. Sloths, kelp, a wasp nest, and the hydra-tree - a massive aspen tree clonal grove /electric eel hybrid organism. They’re scared of hooking this up to the grid because it could short circuit the grid and get loose - it can move itself, albeit slowly.

Oh Cointract Island works...for a certain value of work :D

Kinda reminds me of "The Line" city project. I didn't bother to ask Mr. Payton whether he thinks the project is gonna work. That project and this one are dissimilar in appearance and intended functioning but close relatives in spirit. Cuz I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that one already.
