Yea we're still a nation of labels but more I think we're breaking out of existing barriers when dealing with sexual orientation. Specifically when it comes to straight guys being bisexual.
If you imagine a straight dude for a second: always trying to get laid, etc. Girls are picky. I've found that straight guys get laid less often than gay guys.
In talking with a close straight friend I get the vibe that most of their sex life is exaggerated. The same straight friend told me that he thinks it's easier for gay guys to find dick.
Could it be that this particular friend is bisexual, or in the closet? Possibly.
Could he be describing the feelings of many other straight men?
There's no way to tell yet, but I think we're entering a period of time in society where people just go after people who they are attracted to, regardless of gender.
However, are gay people immune to this concept? Could a gay guy like myself fall for a sexy babe?
Certainly a gay-to-straight themed story would illicit such characteristics. I'll have to write more on this. :)
