I like to think Lishus current head lady in waiting was always a good person at heart. She was just in a nasty environment and when everyone around you is nasty, people will match that to fit in. Realizing she almost killed Lishu with the fish prank because she thought lishu was just a picky eater was probably shocking to her for more reasons than just Mao Mao scaring her. This is of course as Mao Mao would say all speculation Either way I like her redemption into being Lishus only friend.
