[full res and commentary] Monday Again

I debated whether or not to do the whole "Full Res and Commentary" treatment for this one because it's more of a shitpost, but it's also a "high effort" "shitpost", so here are all the usual stuff.

I had a three day weekend and by the end of Friday I was already dreading Monday, so I thought it would be appropriate to draw Skye being sad that it's Monday already but attempting to power through. I posted it on Twitter on Sunday, though, so I couldn't caption it "Monday Again" and the caption I ended up using was kind of emo. Oh, well. I am not the kind of person to wait for an entire day to post something. How am I supposed to rest with that kind of unfinished business?

It's supposed to evoke the feeling of those sad anime scenes where the subject is crying big ol tears during a touching moment with sakura petals floating through the wind. I went really overboard with the big wet eyes, which was fun. I didn't make an actual background or anything, just used the vintage "hcnone orange" BG from ages past. Give me a break these last two weeks at work destroyed me ok

This was a rare pic I actually posted the WIP here on Patreon. Maybe I'll do that more often, even though there's only like, half a day between when I post the WIP and when I post the final pic. Maybe I'll save em for the big high effort multiday works instead.

Next post will probably be a comic, a few shitposts, and then fanart poll pic to wrap up March.
