Friday Rambles 3/25/2022

Not technically late yet, it's the Friday Rambles!

- Thanks for sticking around. I really appreciate it. Seriously!

- Today I made a sandwich and ate it. It was good.

- Still been keeping up my 3 jog a week schedule. Feelin healthy, but still haven't really been getting a lot of sleep. I should focus on that next.

- I worked on the next comic you all saw the wip for for the past two evenings. I was hoping I could finish it by Friday morning. It's really taking a lot longer than I thought it would, but it's also coming out better than I thought it would too. It's not done yet, though, and the subject matter is appropriate for a Monday, so I'll be posting it then. Stay tuned~

- Hopefully I can come up with something to post during the weekend too though, so people don't forget I exist and I also don't lose my Pixiv streak.

- I also came up with 2 more comic ideas I think have good potential. I'm a regular cartoonist now. I think at some point I'll have enough comics that I can compile them all into a book or something. That'll be fun :) Although at this rate it'll take roughly 3 years to gather that many...

- Last night I worked a bit on my secret project, but didn't make a lot of progress. I'm basically starting from scratch and will need to actually learn stuff, so this will probably take a few months or more. Oh well. Stay tuned...

- Played the new Mario Kart DLC this week. Really fun, happy they're adding so many new maps to a pretty much perfect game. 

- New Kirby is already out! Might play it but then I'll delay all the art I want to do this weekend. Thus is the dilemma of having to choose between two hobbies on your nights and weekends. I still haven't touched Elden Ring. How am I supposed to draw fanart of it without having played the game??

- I keep daydreaming about quitting my job and living off savings while trying to grow an art and indie dev career (at least for a few months to see if it'll succeed as well as recover from my work related burnout), but I don't think it'll happen until work forces my hand, ie by firing me when my lack of interest for my job finally catches up to me. I mean it's great to even have a job and all

- Work is still da poop, indeedy do

- I will be going to the office to work starting next week, which rules, oh yeah, love it, looking forward to that, definitely, love to work

- Going to see the Lost City(?) tomorrow at the local "Theatre". Lots of movies coming up that I want to see too, like Sonic, Dr Strange, etc etc. Honestly I miss going to places to do stuff. I used to go to the movies a lot. Glad to be able to do this stuff more often again.

- OK I'm gonna get ready for bed and then reread a volume of Chainsaw Man
