Friday Rambles 4/1/2022

It's another Friday, it's another Rambles. (Editor's note, this was written on Friday)

- I love my job! Haha! April Fool's! (Editor's note, it was April Fool's Day when this was written, on Friday)

- Okay, so the Rambles is late again, but I have a good excuse this time. I've been playing Elden Ring, for research purposes only, because I need to draw a character from the game for the fanart poll winner. I still believe that I won't make my best fanart if I'm not an actual fan of whatever I'm drawing fanart of. But in the process it looks like I'm about to lose my entire weekend to Elden Ring lol

- Elden Ring is fun. I get the hype. I'm not super great at it right now as this is my first ever Souls game, but I think I've been making okay progress for a total beginner like me. Like it's difficult, but also doable. Anyway I'm like halfway through Stormveil Castle rn.

- I'm going to try to spend the rest of the weekend drawing "Fast and Bad" OC portraits for my Twitter April Fool's Tradition. Elden Ring really put a wrench in my plans to finish them this weekend, but hopefully I'll get it out in the next week.

- Regular office life resumed last week, after 2 years of WFH. Pandemic's over, apparently. Anyway my mind and body are totally not used to it yet and my body was physically aching by Friday. Work is da poop.

- That being said, I'm not that negative about working from the office a few days a week. I think it helps keep me connected to the real world and also keeps me from daydreaming too much about weird fantasy stuff like doing art full time lol

- Wow! I'm such a good little employee

- Not that many updates otherwise, mostly was a busy week of work and being tired from work. As usual. Hopefully I'll have my art shit together soon so I have more interesting stuff to share.
