Friday Rambles 4/8/2022

Another Friday, another Rambles. Second week of April already. Didn't do anything! haha!

- Didn't post anything this week! New record! To be fair I was busy with my job and drawing twitter portraits and blah blah blah. Also Elden Ring. Sorry.

- I spent most of this week working and feeling bad about work and about not drawing. I'm getting close to just telling my manager that I need to use up all my saved up PTO for a long-ass 1 month vacation before I fizzle out in an unspectacular fashion. idk. who cares. whatever

- Anyway I have made an executive decision to no longer complain about work here. It's boring and counterproductive. But that also means I have to think of stuff to actually write about. Wow! 

- I have written out like 3 more comic scripts! I also thought of a game idea. I'm a real ideas man tell you what. Now give me the time to implement them

- I ordered Naoki Saito's book "Drawing Well Not Allowed" (or however you decide to translate that) and it arrived today. I flipped through a bit and it's basically all of the advice given in his YouTube videos organized in an easy to digest book form. Good stuff. I'll probably read through it this weekend and then I can finally become a famous twitter artist like Naoki Saito. Unfortunately there's no English version available right now as far as I can tell.

- drinking water rn. mmm water is good. stay hydrated, friends.

- apparently it's spring break and the neighbor kid is playing fortnite with the window open so it's just constant squeaky screaming which is cool. blasting music thru my headphones to try to drown out the noise...

- Stuff I really need to get around to doing:

• New wallpaper packs for last year's works
• Make more stickers (find a good sticker manufacturer, maybe locally, because the turnaround time for my current one is like 3 weeks, which sucks)
• Actually do real work on my secret project
