Friday Rambles for Monday 5/16/2022

As promised, I skipped the Friday Rambles because I was out of town for a friend's wedding for the past 4 days. I'm home now. I had a good time, but there's really no place like home.

- Saw Dr. Strange. Was way more violent than I expected, but I also don't really know what I expected. Enjoyed it and it was worth seeing though.

- I sort of abused my body the past 4 days. I'm so tired. I will coddle my body and feed it only the finest of healthy foods and go to bed early and take it easy for a while. Sorry, body.

- Back to work today. Work is da poop.

- I posted on Twitter that I'm going to do Super Follows soon, because I finally got the notification that I was accepted into the test (I had applied sometime last year I think). I did all the setup stuff and they said they'll enable it in the next 1-3 weeks.

- I'm honestly kind of nervous about it, because I've seen people calling Super Follows "cringe" or "uncool" and I'm afraid I might lose like indie cred or something because of the dumb purple Super Follow button on my profile. Especially if it's only going to bring in a small amount of money, which is not as valuable to me as people caring about me and the stuff I post, since I already have my career for my actual livelihood.

- I'm not planning on having anything really more interesting for Super Followers than anything I'm already posting here. I'll be sure to post all that Exclusive Content here too.

- If it comes down to it I'll just tell Twitter to remove me from the program, because a bigger audience is going to help me in my future plans that I actually care about, and I don't want to impact that for a few bucks a month. Might just forward people to Patreon instead :)

- Seriously, I appreciate you all sticking around during this period of drought lol. I have a lot of background things in motion right now that I'm hoping we'll see the fruits of starting in the second half of the year. 

- I'm feeling the itch to draw again, so I'll probably have something this week. Probably something dumb to get back into the groove of things :)

- New stickers have arrived. They feature Blythe! I will be posting them up on the shop soon, but I'm also doing a revamp of the shop too at the same time, so that might take a bit. (moving to shopify from bigcartel, which I should have done ages ago). As always, I'll be adding the discount codes for Patrons here.
