Friday Rambles 6/3/2022

Can you believe it's already the 6th month of the year. WTF

This week was spent making a plushie campaign comic and I also watched the Bob's Burgers Movie, which was really good. I enjoyed the movie as a Bob's Burgers show enjoyer.

This past week I drew some fanarts to get back into the groove of drawing and they turned out pretty good. I think I can safely say I'm back from my weird art break I had for most of April and May. idk why that even happened, tbh

I also worked. Next week is my last week at work. What a big life update! Work is da poop! No more!

During my sabbatical I'm going to not think about work, travel a bit, and explore the stuff I wanted to for a while, with art, game dev, and some other projects with interesting tech in general. My goal is NOT to make a living off of art or make it my new job. The main goal is to recharge and recover from some epic burnout, and refocus my life on some more important priorities. But I hope to also figure out what I'm actually passionate about, and maybe learn some stuff for the next step in my career.

Even though my goal isn't to become a professional artist or whatever, the side effect of having more time during the day will probably be more art. lol. I sure hope I actually git gud though, because looking at my art from a year ago, I'm not seeing the same big leaps I had from the year before that. We'll see.

I think I'm going to play Civ 6 again. I may have actually gone insane
