Friday Rambles but for Saturday

Yesterday was my last day at work! Do I feel free? Well... more like I'm swinging on a trapeze without a safety net below me, but... I'll probably get over it.

Blythe campaign going about as well as I'd expected. Reached the goal at least! Makeship asked if I wanted to do a give-away and I declined, because it always ends up not helping that much in terms of engagement and I have to deal with scam bots impersonating me to trick followers into thinking they've won so they give out their personal info. Also promoting plushies is too much work. I never want to think about plushies again.

I'm probably going to try to promote my Twitter Super Followers thing soon but I also don't know what I'd really post there besides the same stuff I post here, except with less words. I mean I'd still have to promote it, might as well promote my Patreon at that point. Anyway if you want a cool purple badge next to your name when you @ me you can feel free to subscribe lol

Yesterday I finally set up Gamemaker Studio 2 and started working on prototyping my first mini game dev project. I'm re-learning everything I forgot from 6 years ago which is when I last made a game. I don't know if I'll be diving deep into it next week though because I also want to draw a bunch of stuff and I'll be pretty busy with real life the rest of the month after that. Anyway you can probably expect some "devblog" style ramblings in the coming months.

Today I did Ring-Fit for the first time in a while, because I want to stay active and do other stuff besides jogging. It was more of a workout than jogging lol, I'm always surprised by how strenuous the exercise actually is.

I got the Nichijou 15th anniversary box set finally and am reading through it. What a good series. Once I finish it I'll probably check out CITY (Keiichi Arawi's other series) which I haven't done yet. Anyway it's definitely inspiring to read, and I hope one day I can be half as funny as Nichijou.
