drinking tiger full res and commentary

Yesterday I was literally "Hmmm, today I will paint" (<--clueless) and then drew aimlessly til a sketch appeared. And then I painted over it, which seems to be the process that works the best for me. (Check the timelapse for the process here).
The problem with drawing aimlessly is that it's hard to turn it into a picture with a point. I decided the pose looked ok to be holding a whiskey glass advertising "Tiger's Mark" whiskey, which also fit with the theme of the previous Tiger-chan. Disaster averted!
I hope I'm back in the painting groove, because this was actually pretty fast and I had fun. Excited to do more and git gud.
