It's true, I can't relate to her that's why I can't enjoy this comic as much as I'd like to. What can I do about it? But yeah, I'm an artist and author myself aswell, I'm currently writing a story that, while not being erotic, the main protagonists (a group of women) find love in different places. All of the women are different in sizes and skin color, so I'm trying my best. As a rather tall woman I love tall man, because of that size difference, but all my life these tall men have preferred my shorter friends and I felt very bad about it. That's why this topic hits very much home for me. For the record I'm no way complaining about Atnomen or the artist herself, I'm just voicing a concern I've always had. That it's simply hard to find female-oriented romantic/erotic fiction that features tall or bigger women.

If I understand you correctly you mean you can’t relate to Lena. While I understand that I’d like to point out that Lena is far from being perfect. Yes, she’s small compared to Rain (though I’m sure she’s average) but she’s also a chubby girl with freckles all over her body and proportions that the majority can relate to very much! To me it’s those flaws that make her adorable! Also I don’t think she looks or behaves underage and don’t underestimate the difficulties real couples face with a size difference like theirs! Not everyone finds it cute. Some would even make fun of it! Look, authors and creators will write and draw about whatever they want to see out in this world. If that is what you’d like to see out there why don’t you start with writing about it, especially since you feel underrepresented! Be the change and close the gap! Why not writing an Atnomen fanfic? I sure would read it! Or your very own story! I find it difficult to put ones expectations on others just because the protagonist doesn’t meet your preferences.

one of my favorite authors, not illustrators, but authors, has a delightful variety of height with her leads. i adore that while yes, there's a bunch of shorty mc short gals, they aren't exclusively super petite, which is a nice change. she also has a great array of differently abled lead characters, which also really hits home in a positive way. i understand what you mean by it being a difficult issue. i'm also a tall woman, and the last time i put myself out there (oof, a long time ago) and did the asking out, i was straight up told i was too tall. when i got married the first time (big mistake all around, not the point tho) he was not quite six feet tall, and i wore literal house shoe slippers because they had just about the same amount of added height as ballet shoes without being nearly impossible to find in my size. I *love* our sweet little canary and giant demon/gargoyle rain together. everything about them makes me swoon, but i also get the hunger to see more representation in art and literature that I identify more with. As a part of the mainstream dominant portion of my culture, I imagine the want for representation must be a lot stronger for less represented groups too.
