Converse Shoes Growth Sequence

Mike and Ally's date was going well....until her condition began to act up again...

---

This is the first growth sequence I've drawn that focuses solely on the feet, so I hope you guys like it! Not gonna lie, it was VERY difficult. I've been staring at a pair of converse shoes on my desk for DAYS trying to imagine how a person would outgrow them, so hopefully some of that detail comes through.

Also, since feet aren't usually my preference, for any patrons who like feet, what do you typically look for in feet growth? Like what are the things that make it hot for you? I just wanna know so I can keep it in mind for future growth sequences.

It's ok, I understand

I’m sorry but it won’t since Sporterwaycolours only coloured the preview panels as I didn’t want the whole thing coloured. They did a solid job with the preview though!

Thanksl! I was worried whether I was hitting the right beats or not with it since I've never tried it before, so I'm glad I got your foot growth approval! Also thanks for letting me know your preferences! I'll keep it in mind

Thank you!! I totally get what you mean, and I think it applies to a lot of growth scenes overall too: There's just something more satisfying about watching clothing burst off in more realistic ways.

I love how this looks!! Wish my girlfriend had a condition like this!

Stellar sequence. You nailed it. For me what 90% of shoe bursts lack is “form”. I think it mostly comes to paying attention to the seams and the material you’re drawing instead of drawing the shoe just ripping like tissue paper. That’s why this sequence slaps (also why it’s so difficult and time consuming). Again, great work!

*cracks knuckles* Not only do I love feet, but I love foot growth since it's so dang rare! Tbh, I think you nailed it. Lots of destruction, the laces popping, the canvas separated from the sole. Toes peaking through the socks, the final shot absolutely dwarfing her shoey prison. I, and this is very personal to me, usually prefer a little more length, like the ball of her feets would be in front of the destroyed sole. But that's determined on how much she's going to grow anyhow
