General Updates + Re-organizing Patreon

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well.

First of all I just want to say thank you for your continued support, it really means a lot to me and sometimes it's hard to wrap my head around the generosity. 

It's been just about a year now since I started my Patreon. For the most part I think launching the page has gone fairly well, I was able to keep roughly monthly uploads last year and saw my biggest growth, some of the tier rewards have been a nice challenge and I got to talk to a lot of you in a closer setting than just the YT comments.

That said, there are some elements I'm unhappy with, such as keeping the discord alive, and in particular have felt slack with maintaining the Patreon suggestion videos. I don't think the idea is wrong, and will still hold to it, but I haven't been able to get even close to making those monthly. I might soon just drop the whole "monthly" angle from it entirely to take pressure of myself, but also you guys since not every month do I get enough suggestions. On top of that, the past few months have been pretty tumultuous in my personal life, and even when that resulted in a lot of downtime, I wasn't able to output any video I wanted at all.

I have a main video and supplementary one in the works that should finally be out in a week or so, but as there has been no uploads the past couple of months, I'm going to suspend payments for the next month to compensate. My biggest problem has always been consistency and frequency of uploads, and I don't think that'll ever change, but I want to try to get at least something out a month to show to you guys. Going forward it will be simple: no video that month will mean no payments that month.

I also feel I can do more with Patreon than I currently am. As it stands I don't know if the $5 tier is worth the higher price tag than the $1 one, but am fresh out of ideas on what to do. Or maybe it's closer to say I don't think any of the ideas I do have, like reactions or commentaries, are satisfying enough.

So I'd like everyone to submit a suggestion for a perk they would like to see. You can either comment below on this post, or I'll make a thread in the discord chat. Any suggestion would be welcome, from as simple as more group watches or fuller video ideas,  please reach out!
