My energy did die down a lot this month :(, and I had some real life stuff to do as well.
After that was over, I learnt more about art fundamentals and realised that 1) they sound like the main solution to my most major time and motivation problems, and 2) I've never practiced those at all and I suck.
I therefore wanted to take some time off to go practice gradually. But I also suck at finding motivation to find and practice random references and poses. So I decided to "practice" by drawing what I usually like to draw anyway, just gradually weaving better fundamentals into it, and with less hype to end with a "finished drawing".
By "fundamentals" I'm mostly referring to construction at this point - being able to capture a pose well with simple shapes. I could critique my other fundamentals such as anatomy, composition and shading, and might visit them at some point, but I think they're acceptable for now.
Hence, please expect the pace of drawing art to slow down for an extended period, and for possibly more rough work to appear. I hope I keep this up.
Meanwhile, here's a leftover idea from this month. Another would-be animation that's too detailed, so don't expect this to get done.
