The Infinite Chapter 1
Added 2022-01-07 17:10:44 +0000 UTCHey guys, this is a concept I've been working on for a bit. I'm trying to write some actual novels, and this is my first attempt. It's longer than most of my works normally are, but also probably slower. Hope you like it.
THE INFINITE
Two men dressed in gray with black ski masks covering their faces barrelled down an alley, a bag of loot in each of their hands. Expensive jewelry jingled and clattered with every frenzied step they took, but they didn’t care. They were racing against time. The alarm of the store they just looted was still ringing in their ears, and was still only a block away. The only spotlight on them was the moon, hidden behind the thinnest of clouds, but that was sure to change soon. Sirens in the distance sounded the alarm, but they were making good time.
A fence blocked their current path, but a dumpster would provide a decent stepping stool over it. Quickly they hopped on top of the garbage, then heaved themselves over the fence. With not more but a small stumble, they were back on the run. But when they rounded the corner they suddenly realized the rags they were wearing may not be enough.
The temperature had dropped, somehow, in just this small area. They continued sprinting, but were slowed by their own bodies shivering. “He’s here, isn’t he?” asked one of the masked men to the other.
“Just keep running, idiot!” he yelled. The further they ran, it seemed, the colder it got. After only a few hundred feet, the floor had turned to ice. It was slick and hard to run on, but one of them was actually a skilled skater and was able to increase his speed. Unfortunately, the other was not. He slipped and landed on his back, losing control of his bag. It sailed through the air precariously, but was caught, caught by a white gloved hand.
The faster criminal continued to skate, leaving his partner behind. On the ground and rubbing his bruised butt, he looked at the man before him, covered in white and blue tights, short, white hair, and blue goggles. He had a cocky grin on his face and his breath seemed frostier than it should have been. The man glanced at his bag, then looked back. “You dropped something,” he joked.
The skating criminal heard a blast and a scream. He looked back to try to make out what had happened, but a fog had lowered across his field of vision and he couldn’t really see anything behind him. He turned back, and much to his horror, skated headlong into a wall of ice that wasn’t there just moments ago. It felt like hitting a brick wall, and he collapsed on his back. His nose was now broken, bleeding profusely. “Fuck!” he yelled.
“You gotta keep your eyes on the road, pal,” came a voice from the fog. “10 and 2, look both ways, you know the drill.” Out came the goggled man, as if from nothing. His white and blue outfit was familiar.
“I’ve seen you on the news,” the criminal said through his clattering teeth. “You’re that Captain Freeze guy, right?”
“Oh that’s what this ‘F’ is for…” he said, pointing to his chest. “I thought it stood for ‘Best FREAKING Super Hero Ever’. I guess yours makes more sense.”
“Pretend you didn’t see me. I’ll split the loot with you!”
“Sounds like a good deal, my friend, but I’m afraid I’m gonna have to put your criminal days on ice.” And with that, he held his hands forward and ice exploded out of his gloves. The man’s legs were now encased in ice. He was clearly not going anywhere. “Stay cool!” he said, disappearing in the fog. Almost immediately after, police arrived. They were holding the partner in handcuffs behind them.
“Looks like Captain Freeze got to him too,” they said. “I wish I could do that.” He blasted forward with his hands, but nothing came out, obviously. The other cops were looking at him rolling their eyes.
-
“The Infinite has saved the day again! Just an hour ago, two burglars made out with thousands of dollars of jewelry, only to be spotted several blocks away frozen to the ground. Police suspect the work of Captain Freeze, one of the more charismatic members of the The Infinite, to which we are once again, all grateful-”
Will clicked to change the channel. He was sideways on his couch, his legs resting on the arm rest. Another saved by the Infinite. ‘Rescue me from this boredom’ he thought to himself. He looked around the house; junk food wrappers and dirty dishes stacked higher than him littered the ground and tables. Dust covered the desks against the wall in his cramped apartment, making the pictures on the walls harder to see. It looked like a tornado had run through his room, a year ago, and then an earthquake hit. It was bad.
He continued flipping through the channels. Nothing was on. It was ten at night, why would ANYTHING be on? Nobody was making TV shows for his demographic, 21 year old losers who lived in crappy apartments with no job and no girlfriend. Where was his programming!? Sirens blared in the distance; the city had become the most dangerous it had ever been. What was the cause of this? Was it corruption in the government? Media? Super Heroes? Out of Will’s pay grade.
He finally stopped clicking and gave up. The infomercials were starting already. He peeled himself off the couch and grabbed some water. He looked out the window at the dark city, highlighted only by street lights and the occasional passing car. He tried to lift it to feel the chilly night air, but remembered immediately that his window had been broken for months. His fault for being poor, he guessed.
“Are you tired of trying to make a smoothie using a run of the mill blender?” the boisterous man in the infomercial asked.
“Maybe,” Will stated mockingly. After taking a swig of water, he fumbled around in the refrigerator for anything that looked edible. There was almost nothing. Unless he wanted crackers. He decided he wanted crackers. He took his water and food back to the couch and plopped down, joining in the amazement of the audience at the smoothie this non blender blender could create. He took another swig of water, nibbled on a cracker, and stared forward. “Maybe I should start making smoothies…” he said out loud, but just to himself. I mean it wasn’t a terrible idea.
-
A small explosion shook the apartment building walls. It was a clean explosion, thanks entirely to Mr. Combustible. A wiry looking man with red hair and goggles over a dark biker’s jacket stood amongst the remaining fire, marveling at his work. He wiped his hands proudly and exclaimed “Another perfect-”
A giant fat arm shoved him aside. “Hurry up, I’m hungry.” An immense figure emerged from the lingering bomb smoke. A truly large woman, probably weighing one thousand pounds and standing over six feet tall, attempted to squeeze her way through a hole in the wall big enough for four men. She wore a pink dress that did little to cover her sizeable bust and immense rear end, which was now almost completely exposed to Mr. Combustible. “Ugh…” she muttered. “Didn’t I tell you to make these holes a little bigger?”
“Didn’t I tell you to lose some weight?”
“Give me a shove skinny boy!” she yelled.
“I hate this job sometimes…” he said under his breath. He charged forward and rammed his shoulder into her giant ass cheek, but it didn’t budge. He continued pressuring forward while she squeezed as hard as she could. Eventually, the remaining bits of wall blocking her massive body crumbled away, and she shoved on through. “Giganta, any chance you could go on a diet after this?” asked Mr. Combustible, now panting.
“Hurry up!” A male voice growled from behind.
-
“Best FREAKING Super Hero? Are you even trying anymore?” asked Americano. He scratched his beard in a cocky manner, his messy hair dangling over his forehead. His red, white and blue costume contrasted sharply with the black chair he was perched in.
Captain Freeze disagreed. “I think it’s pretty good man! Don’t be cold with me!”
Americano chuckled and spinned in his chair, now facing a large, wall-sized monitor. A digital marvel, the screen before him mapped out the entirety of Citopolus, the metropolitan area the Infinite was in charge of watching over. There were little blips and bloops constantly appearing all over the place, which represented noises and movement that may be attributed to crime. It was a massive tool they used to always be at the right place at the right time. It was anonymous enough that it wasn’t intrusive, but detailed enough through artificial intelligence that it helped them solve crime. Small blips were not normally of concern; they could be anything, ranging from a fire hydrant to a traffic accident. It was the big blips they were concerned about, the ones that moved fast and stayed consistent.
“Another slow night,” Americano said. He grabbed an apple off the desk and tossed it in the air, catching it. He tossed it again, but it never returned to his hand. Instead, a giant of a woman loomed over him, with an apple in her hand that looked like a marble.
“Back from your workout Titania?” asked Freeze.
She looked down at Freeze, which was easy to do even while they both stood. She was seven feet tall and weighed somewhere around 400 pounds. Her muscles bulged out of her tight white spandex. Her outfit left little to the imagination; she was incredibly busty, each breast bigger than a head, and her thighs were thick and bulging out every which way, with a butt that didn’t quit. She had long, golden blonde hair that always looked somehow wild and in exactly where she wanted it all times. She was a beauty, but a massive beauty that everyone was afraid of, and for good reason. She took a bite out of what was now HER apple, then licked her lips enthusiastically. “Three hours of legs will get you hungry.”
Americano was always surprised by her size, no matter how long he had been the leader of the Infinite. “Glad you could join us…” he muttered sarcastically.
“Good job on your catch today, Freeze,” she said. “But do you always have to cause an ice age when trying to stop petty crime?”
“Not all of us were blessed with super size, Titania,” Freeze jested. This was a game they often played with each other. “Some of us were meant for so much more.” They both laughed. Titania put her huge hand on Americano’s head and ruffled his hair, playing with him like he was a kid.
“Americano here could teach you a thing or two about how to speak to a lady. He always treats me with respect.”
“I mostly don’t want my arms to be ripped out,” Americano stated, his head now precariously close her bulging sweaty thigh. Just then, an alarm sounded, and the team jumped from their recess. They all turned to look at the Board.
“It’s coming from those apartments,” pointed Americano. He used the touch capabilities to zoom in, and they all gasped as they saw who it was.
“The Collective!” they all said.
“It’s all three of them,” Freeze stated.
Americano looked at it closely. “I wonder why they are breaking into apartments, of all places. Someone must have something valuable in there. We have to get there before Electakill finds what he’s looking for… or worse.” They all nodded to each other. The mission was now a go.
-
Will was almost launched off his couch. He was just about to fall asleep when what seemed like an earthquake rocked his small apartment. In the other rooms he could hear scampering and murmuring. Alarms were sounding all around. What was going on?
He walked to the front door of his apartment and opened it. His neighbors to both the left and right were looking back and forth at each other, wondering what was going on. They were all shrugging, as clueless as the next. It seemed they all came to the quiet consensus that it was a really weird mini earthquake or something, and the madness was over. Just as they were all going to head back inside, another explosion, one sounding much closer, happened down the hall. Through the thick black smoke, it looked like a thunderstorm was happening. Little bolts of lightning sizzled in every direction, and it somehow seemed to be coming closer. Before long, a dark figure in a hood emerged, with a silver mask covering his face. He seemed gaunt, but it was hard to tell exactly due to him being completely covered by a black robe.
He lifted a finger and pointed it at one of Will’s neighbors. Then he moved forward, walking at a steady but powerful gait. “Come!” he commanded. With that, another figure emerged from the smoke, but before Will had a chance to see it, he and all the other denizens had slammed their door shut. Will scurried behind his couch and held his hands over his head. He could faintly hear a door being ripped off its hinges, a loud “NOOO!!!!”, and then some electrical charge sounds. What on earth was going on?
-
“This is the Infinite! Open your windows! Captain Freeze has created ice slides that will lead you to safety!” called out Americano over his loudspeaker. He nodded to Titania, who hustled over to the makeshift slides and waited for people to come down. “Good job, Freeze,” said Americano to the panting ice man.
“Boy, it’s harder than it looks to use these skills to NOT hurt people,” he joked.
“Now we gotta get up there, and see if we can stop the Collective.” Americano and Freeze looked at each other and at the same time cheered “THE FRONT DOOR!”
-
Will’s heart sunk as he heard the proclamation. He couldn’t slide his window open. He ran to the window and pounded on it, but it wouldn’t budge. Down below, he made eye contact with a gigantic woman, who, even from a distance, stood out like a sore thumb. That must have been Titania. She was one of the Infinite. Maybe she could save him. He saw her step on the ice, but she broke right through it. With her size and power, that was not surprising. Not much could possibly withstand her weight. She then ran out of view, seemingly leaving him in the dark. What kind of superhero was that? He couldn’t believe how unlucky he was. Everyone else was going to make it out alive and he was going to die by the hands of these mutant monsters.
No. Not today.
His fists turned into little balls of fury. With some newfound courage, Will turned towards the door. If the Infinite wouldn’t save him, and it looked like that was the case, he was going to have to save himself. Approaching the door carefully and cautiously, he reached for the handle. Now gripping it, shaking like a scared puppy, he turned the knob and pushed forward. His whole body urged him to to run, and his legs were ready to move. But the door only opened about 5 inches before it crashed into something, something big.
Will peaked through the crack and saw a wall of pink. It looked like a dress, but it easily covered the width of the crack and then some. He looked down, only a little, to see the door had bumped into the largest ass he had ever seen. It was so big, he could only really see one cheek with his limited view, and to that effect only part of it. The bottom of this massive woman’s rear end was peaking below. The woman gave out a little grunt, then shuffled around and bent forward. A fat, rosey cheeked face with curly blonde hair was now staring him directly in the face, a malicious grin stretching beyond the confines of the crack. He looked down slightly to see a canyon of cleavage at least a foot long, maybe closer to a foot and a half. This was the biggest woman he had ever seen.
“Like what you see, sugar?”
Will desperately tried to close the door, but she must have been gripping the handle and was far stronger, not to mention sturdier, than his 130 pound frame. He decided to let go, which was the luckiest decision of his life, as the massive woman ripped the door off its hinges and tossed it aside, making a huge crashing sound behind her. Will dove out of view, hiding behind the couch again.
Giganta’s eyes caught his refrigerator. “Ooh, I think I’ve earned a snack!” Licking her lips, she squeezed her way into his now wide open apartment and ripped off the refrigerator door. After a few seconds of rummaging, she angrily exclaimed “Don’t you have anything worth eating in here you little shrimp?”
“Grocery day is tomorrow and I’m short on cash!” Will yelled, for some reason.
Out of nowhere, the couch Will was hiding behind was flung from where it had been, and this massive beast of a fat woman stood over him. She bent forward, her breasts dangling almost to the floor. Will felt a terror he had never felt before. His heart was racing, and he felt a weird warmth that he couldn’t explain. She had a smug look on her eyes as she licked her lips. “Then I guess for dinner, I’ll have to improvise-”
“Why don’t you try picking on someone your own size?” came a man’s voice from behind her. This woman was so large, Will couldn’t possibly see who it was, but she would solve that for him.
“And that person is…?” she asked mockingly. “All I see is a popsicle.” Will’s heart jumped. It was Captain Freeze! Captain Freeze was in HIS apartment. He wished he had cleaned before all of this, it was pretty embarrassing in here.
“You know what they say, Fat Lady. Cold things come in small packages!” Will heard a momentary pause. He was expecting to feel colder, or hear a burst of… whatever bursting ice sounded like. A freezing… sound? A fweeeep? But there was nothing, just a pregnant pause, and then an “What the Hell?”
“I guess things are heating up between us, Frosty,” said the Fat Lady. She lurched forward, and Freeze couldn’t believe his eyes. His powers hadn’t worked, and this woman looked like she could swallow him. This was not good. But before he could shakes the situation, she had already grabbed him with both of her meaty hands, trapping his arms to his sides. He struggled and kicked, but nothing was working.
“Why can’t I… freeze you…” he muttered as he squirmed.
“Put him down!” came another man’s voice from the doorway.
-
Titania raced up the stairs to find that little man in the apartment. She feared the worst, so she was running at full sprint, when a huge explosion above her caught her off guard. She looked up, but was too late to prevent the rubble that was now collapsing on top of her. All she could do was hold up her arms, but it was of no use. Where once the great Titania stood, tall, muscular and proud, was now a pile of rubble.
“I always knew you’d go out with a bang,” Mr. Combustible taunted. “I’m flattered you’ve chosen to do it with me!” Much to his horror, the rubble began to shift, and was subsequently launched to either side, and the great Titania stood tall, her thick forearm wiping the dirt off her beautiful face. His face went pale, and he turned and sprinted away. She quickly chased after him. Down the hallway, he caused multiple explosions, showering Titania with debris, but with the help of her hand guards, she was able to swat it all away like flies.
He rounded a corner and caused an explosion above him, causing a massive rubble wall he was confident couldn’t be busted through in any quick fashion. Wiping the sweat off his brow, he found a vacant apartment, closed the door, locked it, and looked through the peephole. Much to his relief, the amazon was nowhere to be seen. “Shame…” he muttered to himself. “She was one hot bitch…”
“Is,” she said, now standing behind him.
He turned, terrified. She had created a hole in the wall behind him. This woman was the strongest thing he had ever seen! Unfortunately, the last thing he would see was a huge fist aim straight for his face. His vision went black.
-
Americano was staring the fat woman dead in the eyes. She wasn’t budging, still holding Captain Freeze in her tight grip. His feet dangled helplessly. Will couldn’t believe the star power in his room right now. The warm feeling pulsating through him had only grown, though he had no idea what it meant.
“Americano… get the civ out of here!” Freeze jerked his head towards Will.
“Got it!” he affirmed. He rolled to the side of the Fat Lady and darted towards me.
“Fine by me,” the Fat Lady said. “Let’s play Freeze tag!” She lifted Captain Freeze into the air and threw him like a bag of potatoes. He landed flush and hard against a wall, knocking off the few pictures Will had. A grimace appeared on his face and he grabbed his lower back.
“Don’t worry about him,” American said to me. “And what’s up with your eyes?”
“What?” I asked.
“Nevermind that, we gotta go!” He heaved me over his shoulder, but stumbled uncharacteristically to his knee. “Mmphhh…” he blurted out. After an awkward moment, he was able to get to his feet. With a feat of pure courage, he charged the window and slammed right into it. Will would have liked it if he slammed right THROUGH it, but something wasn’t right. He and I collapsed to the ground. “What the Hell is going on?” he asked, mostly to himself. I shrugged.
A huge, fat hand gripped his head. “I guess you’re sticking around, pretty boy?” the Fat Lady asked. With one hand, she lifted him up and looked him in the eye. “You’re even cuter in person. I’m gonna enjoy this.”
“Put him down now!” came another woman’s voice. The Fat Lady swiveled her neck around. “Ah, the great Titania! Finally a worthy adversary.”
“I’m going to repeat myself only once. Put him down. Now.” she stood in the doorway, her big arms crossed, pressing up against her enormous breasts. Will couldn’t believe it. He had the entire Infinite in his room. And she was a lot bigger looking in person than on TV. How did she even get around town? She had to duck just to get in the doorway.
Unfortunately for her, a robed figure was stalking her, and had moved closely behind her. Only Will could see it, and called out. “Titania watch out!” But it was too late. Or so he thought. The robed man made some kind of motion with his hands, and he let out a yell, but nothing happened.
“What the Fuck?” he yelled. He looked down at his hands, normally rippling with electricity, now looking useless and small.
Titania turned to see him, helpless and confused. She gripped his skinny neck with one hand and lifted him in the air. He clutched her hand with both of his, but she was far too strong for his efforts to do anything.
“How about now?” she asked the Fat Lady. “I give you Man Electric, you give me Americano?”
The Fat Lady chuckled. “Ahh, you’re a gem. So big and muscular and brave.” She walked towards me, with her head still turned towards Titania. “But I know your weakness.” She turned her head towards me, a smile from ear to ear. “I think I’ll snap this twig’s neck.”
Captain Freeze jumped on the Fat Lady’s neck, stopping her momentarily. “Titania, save the boy! We got this!”
She nodded. With one motion, she tossed Man Electric into the wall, knocking him out cold, and took off towards Will. Will was almost terrified seeing this massive amazon barrel towards him. He was just glad she was on his side.
Meanwhile, the Fat Lady grabbed a hold of Freeze with her free hand and slammed him on the ground in front of him. She reached down and picked him up. Looking at both men with that sick smile, she said “I’m gonna smother me some super heroes!”
Titania scooped Will up by his waist and held him close to her intensely hard abdomen. Seeing each chiseled ab pulse with her movements was insane. What was her workout routine? She ran to the window and with one huge, meaty thigh, kicked the window out with a bang. She didn’t seem to be having the issues that Americano had. She dove through the opening with such finesse Will would have sworn she had practiced this before. Predictably, she broke through the ice, but luckily, they were only on the second floor, and she was already huge, not to mention a superhero, so she was able to land clean on her feet, still holding him under her armpit. She maneuvered Will calmly back to his feet, then got on one knee and looked him in the eyes. Her face was oddly warming, despite being a massively oversized amazon warrior who just jumped out of a building.
“Are you okay?” she asked Will.
All he could do was nod.
-
The fat lady laughed as she shoved the two legendary superheroes into her massive breasts. Their faces were planted directly into her pink dress, and her massive nipples were poking through. “Look at me, I got Captain Freeze and Americano, the two greatest superheroes of all time, and I’m smothering them like little babies!” Both of them pushed as hard as they could on her huge breasts, but she was too strong. They would suffocate before long.
Luckily, Captain Freeze felt his powers returning. That cold feeling returned to his hands. In a last ditch effort, he blasted the Fat Lady in the stomach. It wasn’t a calculated move, it was all he could think as the oxygen was leaving his body. Luckily, the impact was enough to make her drop the heroes. They each landed on their butts and looked up. The fat lady looked down at them angrily.
“Fuck that’s cold!” she exclaimed, a ring of ice stuck around her belly like a hula hoop. Freeze aimed for her feet this time, trapping her in place.
“Get Man Electric, we need what he stole!” Americano called out.
“He’s gone,” replied Freeze. It was true, where he was once hunched over unconscious, the robed man with a mask had vanished, assumedly with his stolen goods. This was a rescue mission, so it was still a success, but the heroes would have to figure this out at a later date.
“Let me go now!” the Fat Lady yelled.
They both ran out of the apartment, hoping to see Man Electric on the way out. It was not the case. They made their way outside, thankfully finding Titania and the boy.
“Is he okay?” asked Americano.
Titania stood back up, her heaving breasts now forehead level with Will. “He seems fine.” She put her big hand on his shoulder.
Americano looked at Will very sharply. “Oh, Titania. I don’t think this one is anything like he seems. Let’s take him to Roger.”
