Dropping the lgd?
Added 2023-09-05 02:03:40 +0000 UTCI've been thinking this for a while now, you probably noticed that I barely draw lgd nowadays and refuse to lewd Molly and Winter... I just feel bad about it, I've seen the kind of people that likes it and it's not the kind of people I want to be associated with...
I don't even feel like drawing guys fucking my girls anymore tbh. I really want to do more than just nsfw on internet, and being known as "that lgd artist" by people doesn't really helps me much...
Still, I'm not saying that I will stop doing it atm I don't like making hasty decisions.
But I want to know your opinion about it

I will say this: You're one of the only LGD artists out there who isn't some kinda jerk, and the people who enjoy LGD could use more people who aren't jerks as inspiration!

2023-09-15 11:42:48 +0000 UTCA few days late but thought I'd offer my 2 cents: As someone who has seen artists call it quits on various fetishes for similar reasons, one pattern I've started to notice is that people deciding your art is malicious is, unfortunately, a fact of life of being an artist. It wouldn't matter if you were sfw only. In fact, it wouldn't even matter if you stopped being an artist. If you do anything online and you have a large following, someone will decry you as malicious, and someone you'd rather not be associated with will comment on your work. The best (and only) defense is to ignore the people who decide to hate you for no reason, block the neer-do-wells who try to associate with you, and let them weep and gnash their teeth far away behind a brick wall where you don't have to look at or hear them. Draw what you want, I say. It's pixels on a screen that hurt no one, and never let anyone say otherwise. Self-censorship is just a path to misery, I've found. Though as a personal note: I would respect whatever decision you make, but personally I quite like your LGD art. I quite literally created a Patreon account just so I could support you. I admit I would be a little sad if you decided to stop doing it.

I really enjoy what you do, but I totally respect your decision if you decide to abandon that work, given how fishy some people are about it and not wanting people to see that first thing. I think you should do what makes you comfortable but I also understand if you need to balance that with retaining support. Best of luck whatever you do!

It's definitely a very unique part of your gallery and even inspired me to maybe make LGD art of my own in the future with my own kinks (gonna be the first person to ever draw diaperfur LGD LOL). But in the end you draw some *bombshell* ladies (I'm very glad that nearly ever woman you draw has tits individually the size of her head), so I'll still like your art regardless, but I hope this isn't the last of your LGD X3

If you feel burned out, take a break. Your health is more important and you shouldn't feel pressured to do something you don't feel comfortable with.

2023-09-05 09:48:59 +0000 UTCHonestly, if you’re having doubts, what I think you should do is take a good look at everything you’ve drawn and reflect on what you feel about it all. If you look at your art and feel bad about it or regret it in any way, I wouldn’t continue with it. You may lose some customers, but if you continue to draw things you have negative feelings towards, it will eat away at your soul and that could lead to you outright hating art. At the end of the day, you need to do what makes you happy. Pleasing others is a failing endeavor. Keeping up with something because it’s expected of you and not because you enjoy it could also lead to resentment towards those people as well. Whatever you choose, I wish you luck in your efforts. But make sure it’s a choice that you’re legitimately happy with. Loving the work you do is important as a content creator because otherwise the quality can suffer and then absolutely nobody is happy. Your art style is really nice and your characters are cute. You have a lot of skill. It may be presumptuous of me to say this, but I have confidence that you’ll be able to succeed no matter what path you choose as long as you don’t give up.

Whit the content you make I can only imagen what bad atentions it wold atract, tough I dont asosiate you whit anything malicius. In my perspective if what you do is not seeking to hurt, and the only way for it to do so is trough self exposure or malisius intent, than doing what you want is what we shold strive for. Of course if you no longer find any satesfaction in what you make or the atentions of bad crowds are outwaying whatever you get in return you shold probly stop. In the end togh you shold do what is right for you now than if you ever change your mind you can just pick it up later. On a nother note I did make some Nsfv Molly fanart resantly togh Im both introverted and dont use sosial media so I havent asked, wold you mind if I posted it on e621 or wold you want to see it first if I were to do so?

I was drawn in by your art, your style, and the characters you made along the way! To me it doesn’t matter what kind of scenario they’re in, be it something like lgd, or a wholesome gay or straight romp. You do whatcha want! But there are definitely some weird people and maybe those with poor intentions who like it probably a bit too much, so I can understand your feelings about it. I say just do what makes you happy and make the kinda stuff you want to see! However, I totally understand where you are coming from, this kind of kink can attract some unsavory people, and it makes sense that you don't want to be associated with them or be known just as "the lgd artist" when you are more than that.
