Edmund of Gran never expected to be the duke. But when his sister was lost to the throes of a lamia slaver, he is left to rule the duchy. A task he didn't want, and never expected.
Fortunately, he has a plan. He might not be a good duke, but he can be. All it takes is a wish. And with the djinn Vinassa's circlet, he can make that wish come true. She'll make him the best duke Gran has ever known!
Of course, maybe he should have been more specific about what makes a good boy - I mean a good duke...
