He was told when he inherited her that she was cunning. Tricky. That even to look at her was to risk damnation.
But she seemed so sweet.

Surely such a giggly bimbo couldn't be the terrifying demon he was warned about.
Surely she was far too silly and empty-headed to trick him into giving up his soul.

So it was good that he decided to undo her seals. He was the master. It was all his decision. He knew what was best.
