September Short Story: Teacher Pet

Here we are! A pretty meaty short story this month, and a lot of fun to write. This one had a really fun concept, and I had to stop myself from going even further with it.
This is also the last post for this month, but that means October is right around the bend! Which means we're going to be taking suggestions for October's poll. Given the season, I'm aiming for a more Halloween-ie tale. So put on those thinking caps! We'll be taking suggestions tomorrow.
