Kundo pushes Shobu out of this incredibly awkward situation but before they do, Shobu takes the time to thank Kiko for helping him despite never meeting her. Problem is, Kiko has tried to say hi to him several times but he never noticed her. She claims she's used to not being noticed but given how she looks at the end....Maybe it hurts her more than she let's on.

You know, I get what that’s like. Having suffered from severe depression brought on by severe loneliness I know how it feels. You can be in a room full of people and there’s a part of you that still feels isolated,.. Beyond that going without meaningful human connection for so long can leave you at a point where you can’t even move or do anything to make yourself feel happy anymore. Unfortunately there’s only two cures for it, the first is to find connection and give yourself tasks to complete, the second is to accept that its okay that sometimes you’re gonna be alone. It sucks and its hard. Kiko at the very least deserves some meaningful human contact in her life. ❤️
