Milestone - 1000 Patrons

"I'd be so happy and honoured even if 100 people chose to pledge to me, it'd make what I do feel so special"

Those are the words I said to myself when I first started Patreon back in 2016. When I finally hit that amazing milestone back in the day, I was so emotional and heart warmed by the fact even 100 people wanted to support me in what I did.

"I can't imagine ever hitting 1000 Patrons, that's a pipe dream" As I laughed to myself.

This is what I said this year back in February and I truly believed that 1000 wouldn't be a number I'd hit, and if I did, it wouldn't be for many years to come.

Yet, here we are, 4 years later on October 9th we hit 1000 Patrons and that feeling I felt back when I hit 100 Patrons 4 years ago still remains true to this very day.

I want you to all know that my life has been completely transformed (and yes the irony is not lost on me here hehe) back from 4 years ago today. I was so scared during High school wondering what I'd do with my life and if art would ever be a viable option for an income because I knew in my heart I wasn't any good at retail or the usual types of jobs you can get after graduation.

But because of over 1000 of you believed in my hopes and dreams and my aspirations, I am no longer scared, I feel like a somebody and this is why I create countless content for you all, to return the favour to each an every one of you no matter what tier you're on.

You all give me purpose, a reason to keep going, I'll never truly be able to show my utter gratitude to you all but I hope I can do my best by sharing with you what I love so dearly.
