I will try to open my laptop again tomorrow when my laptop is dried off.

2020-12-08 23:04:29 +0000 UTCIt won't dry in a day. If you want to prevent water damage don't turn it on. If you have the tools open the laptop blow dry the components from a distance or using a fan. If you see any evaporated spots on any component wipe it with a alcohol patted ear cue tip. Make sure it's wet it enough to get the job done but not wet enough for the alcohol to run off. I repair water damages on computers and consoles all the time. That stuff doesn't evaporate as easily.
