World Design Tidbit: Ear cropping in lore is a personal aesthetic choice, (like piercings), that is now a relatively painless process, while you wouldn't find it on offer in a mall, like a piercing stall, you could walk into most tattoo parlors to have your ears cropped.
In my belief, in a world that is only furs, pioneering spirits would develop, and improve techniques for unique body modifications.
