Matt, Shelley, and I spend weeks on the speech—to make it relevant to Australia and to paint a larger picture of the CCP's influence.
This was shown on SBS in Australia, and we wanted to make a version available to you as well, so we filmed it.

2018-03-28 03:48:44 +0000 UTCA suggestion: Don't use the term "reverse engineering" when talking about the CCP. Reverse engineering is a legitimate way to create a device that performs the same as another device. It's done without the engineers actually knowing exactly how the competition does what it does. They have to design their own solution. What the CCP does is not reverse engineering. What they actually do is directly copy the technology that someone else created.
